Here we are with a new wine suggestion to drink a toast in front of a sunset on the sea.

If you still are in the city, try it on the terrace or outside in a coffee table when some fresh air is finally caressing us.

Excellent quality-price ratio.

The proof of the pudding!

Cheers!

This is the week Ginger’s choice:

Verdicchio di Matélica DOC 2011

Terre di Valbona

Cantine Belisario (Marche)

www.belisario.it

Verdicchio di Matélica, inlands parts of Marche, we are on the hills, parallel to the Appennino mountains.

The big temperature range, give us great structure and aroma grapes.

This fragrant Verdicchio, is fresh, savoury and aromatic in the mouth.

Try it with a fish grill or with a fresh porcini mushrooms salad.

A curiosity.

As it used to be said by the ancient Latin people, nomen homen, name is the man, and the Verdicchio (which means “green”) has this name because of the straw-yellow and green nuances shining in the glass.
