{"id":4097,"date":"2014-02-24T08:05:28","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T08:05:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gingerforbreakfast.it\/blog\/?p=4097"},"modified":"2018-04-14T08:48:11","modified_gmt":"2018-04-14T06:48:11","slug":"not-only-with-meat-or-rather-vegetarian-balls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gingerforbreakfast.it\/blog\/en\/not-only-with-meat-or-rather-vegetarian-balls\/","title":{"rendered":"NOT ONLY WITH MEAT or rather VEGETARIAN BALLS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Balls for everyone, they are never enough: these are vegetarian and according to your tastes and to the season you can make them as you like more!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS x 4 PEOPLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 roman or sicilian broccolo<\/p>\n<p>stale bread guts to taste<\/p>\n<p>4 anchovies in oil<\/p>\n<p>1 clove of garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 beaten egg (to be added slowly, you could need just a bit)<\/p>\n<p>1 egg to bread<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp of pecorino cheese<\/p>\n<p>150 g of scamorza cheese<\/p>\n<p>some grated lemon skin<\/p>\n<p>salt<\/p>\n<p>pepper<\/p>\n<p>bread crumbs<\/p>\n<p>canola oil to fry<\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clean broccolo, cut in small pieces and boil in salty water for 5 minutes togheter with soft leaves.<\/p>\n<p>Drain (keep cooking water, you may need it later to make the compound softer), smash it and add: cut anchovies, minced stale bread guts, minced garlic, the egg (little by little) and some grated lemon skin. Add pecorino chees, salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Cut scamorza cheese in small cubes and put some pieces inside while preparing balls. Pour balls in bread crumbs, then in the egg and in bread crumbs again.
